Biography
Rosemarie Truman: Rosemarie Truman is the Founder and CEO of The Center for Advancing Innovation. She is also one the Board of Directors of Medical Center of the Americas Foundation and strategy graduate school professor. She has over 22 years of experience in strategy, having led over 120 innovation and strategy engagements for the top 20% of the Fortune 50 as well as start-ups and government organizations. She conceived, launched and spearheaded IBM’s global innovations and R&D strategy, organization and trade secrets growth strategies for identifying breakthroughs in Life Sciences and other industries. Having been featured in Nature, Wired, the Chicago Tribune, Licensing Executive Society, and more, she has received several noteworthy awards such as the Health and Human Services Secretary’s Pick Innovation award, the Federal Laboratory Consortium Technology Transfer Excellence award as well as the Golden Circle award given to 200 of 450,000 of IBM’s employees.
