NDDS covers various aspects like pharmacokinetics & pharmacodynamics, non-specific toxicity, immunogenicity, bio recognition, and drug’s efficacy based on preferable approaches that include polymer science, pharmaceutical technology, dispensing pharmacy, packaging technology, bio conjugate chemistry, and molecular biology. NDDS based on two mechanism i.e. physical and biochemical. Physical mechanism is like dissolution, osmosis, absorption, distribution, bioavailability, excretion and diffusion. Biochemical mechanism is like gene-protein therapy, liposomes-niosomes, Nano-micro particles, Monoclonal antibodies.
